Job Title: Manager - Site Surveyor & Mapping

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Site Surveyor & Mapping to oversee and manage our site surveying and mapping operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors, ensuring accurate and timely site surveys, and producing detailed maps and reports. The Manager - Site Surveyor & Mapping will also collaborate with various stakeholders to provide valuable insights for project planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of surveyors in conducting site surveys, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking.

2. Ensure that all survey activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

3. Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive survey plans, timelines, and budgets.

4. Coordinate with external vendors to procure necessary equipment and resources for surveying tasks.

5. Oversee the collection of data using advanced surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and 3D laser scanners.

6. Manage the processing and analysis of collected data to create detailed maps, plans, and reports.

7. Ensure the accuracy of mapping deliverables by conducting quality control checks on completed work.

8. Provide technical expertise in interpreting survey data to support project planning, design, and construction activities.

9. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in surveying technology, and best practices to drive continuous improvement within the team.

10. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and development among team members.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.

2. Proven experience 5+ years working as a surveyor or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.

3. Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, equipment operation, and mapping software (AutoCAD or GIS).

4. Proficiency in using surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

7. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

8. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards related to land surveying and mapping.

9. Professional certification as a Licensed Surveyor is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary Package : 6,00,000 -8,00,000 INR per annum.
