Position: Legal Compliance Officer
Job Summary:
The Legal Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the company operates within the boundaries of applicable laws and regulations. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will also be responsible for monitoring the company's adherence to legal requirements and providing guidance to management on compliance-related matters.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement an effective compliance program to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
3. Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices that may impact the company's operations.
4. Provide guidance to management on compliance-related matters, including the interpretation of laws and regulations.
5. Develop policies and procedures to address identified compliance gaps or areas of improvement.
6. Train employees on compliance policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
7. Investigate reported or suspected violations of laws, regulations, or company policies.
8. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that business practices align with legal requirements.
9. Maintain records of compliance activities, including reports of investigations and resolutions.
10. Prepare regular reports on the status of the company's compliance efforts for senior management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in law or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
2. Proven experience working in a legal or regulatory compliance role.
3. In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Strong ethical values with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
8. Professional certifications in legal or compliance fields are desirable.

Job Location: Bangalore
Salary Package : 9,00,000 -12,00,000 INR per annum.
